Lapislazuli
by Lisa Feklistova
Wow. A movie one doesn't forget too soon. "Lapislazuli - in the eye of the bear" is a very touching movie which shows how important friendship and family are.
It tells the story of a stone-age boy who got lost in the modern world. He meets a girl called Sophie who helps him to find the way back to his family. This movie is really funny and so interesting, that it takes one's breath sometimes. It shows wonderful mountain and forest landscapes. One learns interesting things about the stone age.
The costume of the stone age boy is realistic. Only the shoes are not well done. They look like they are actually sport shoes that were painted. The actors make great expressions which are so good that one has to laugh or hold one's breath and which fit the situation.
"It's not my first film", says Julia Krombach (Sophie). "Today I was very nervous, because I saw the movie for the first time." The director, Wolfgang Murnberger, was happy to have made a children's movie, because his own kids helped him cut the film. They told him what was good and what was bad. And what became of all that? Well, you have to see for yourself.
