“Is he here for a holiday?” “Not really Sweetie. They closed the institution because of financial problems.” “So he’s come to live with us?” “It’s only for the time being until we find something else. Don’t worry.”
Yoni can’t wait to be a grown up. He needs a deeper voice and a clear head for his Bar Mitzvah. His father is a pilot, but he hasn‘t taken off in ages. Miri, his mother, is always busy with her kindergar- ten group and has little time for her own children. Each of them is stuck with their fate. When Yoni‘s autistic brother Tomer unexpect- edly turns up at home, it‘s the last thing they need. The family has to grow close again – especially in times of the flood.
