JJ: Why is it important to make a movie like this?
ETJ: I started to draw the bear and was just wondering about why anyone hasn’t made this into a movie before, so I did.
JJ: what is the message of this movie?
ETJ: The film is about making choices and consequences, and moving forward with fear and trust.
JJ: Tell us something about the bear.
ETJ: Well it´s is 30 meters tall and it has 99 trees on his back, it has been sleeping fore 1000 years and it´s about 1060 years old.
JJ: What is your favorite scene?
ETJ: I think it’s the one where the bear lifts the house up, the one with the butterflies and also in the start of the movie where the logo comes up, that is really cool.
JJ: How did you do/produce the animation?
ETJ: We started writing the manuscript, then we drew the storyboard and I think we drew about 1 min. storyboard per day. It took us about 2 years. Then the voices, Alberte 7, as the little girl and Marcus 12, as the little boy. The voices change so much in the years of producing so we had to put on an effect so you couldn’t hear the difference.
Then we edited the movie, builded figures and bones, drew the landscape. I think all in all we made about 20 sek. per week.
